Once again welcome to the 2008 Colorado NSA Slow-Pitch Season. Here you will find our Standard Operating Procedures for Colorado NSA. Please take a moment and read the following and we look forward in seeing you this year. TEAM SANCTION/ROSTER'S: National Softball Association requires teams to register with NSA to play in any Sanction League or Tournament. Go to PlayNSA.com to register for the 2008 Season. If you have any questions regarding this process contact David Hermosillo and he will be able to assist you. Once you have filled out the form to sanction you can send and make your payment payable to Softball In Denver, 1387 S Inca St, Denver, Co, 80223. Once you have done this your team will be ready to play in any NSA league or tournament. Another requirement that will be asked is for you to put your Roster's on-line on your team account. There are several advantages in doing this as they will be fully discussed later. TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE: There are certain requirements for teams participating in our tournaments and managers will be expected to comply with them. Team managers are expected to make full payment prior to their first game on the day of their tournament. Managers are expected to arrive early enough to be ready to pay, have their players sign the team roster and have everyone in their dugout prior to first scheduled game. Mangers that desire to pay with a credit card may do so at the league office or by calling the league office no less than 24 hours before scheduled tournament. Teams wishing to pay at the tournament may do so with cash, check or money order. Please note the following fee's will be assessed on all returned checks. An additional $50 fee will be added for checks in the amount of $50 - $100 and an additional $100 fee will be added for checks in the amount of $101 - $300. Teams failing to show or pay in full in a tournament will be subject to suspension. This suspension includes all rostered players of the team that participated for that given tournament. If you are a no show we will go by your last roster used at a previous tournament, your team roster will also be frozen and teams will be not be permitted to play until a forfeit fee of $125 is paid to cover Directors fixed costs. SUSPENSION PROCEDURE: We will strictly enforce a suspension list that will be released prior to the start of the season. If your name or team is listed you will not be allowed to participate in any NSA sanctioned league or tournament. The other organizations will be asked to honor this list and we anticipate to cooperate with their list. WEATHER PROCEDURE: Colorado NSA refund policy for cancelled events are as follows:  0 Games Played  FULL REFUND   1 Game Played  50% REFUND   2 or more Games Played  NO REFUND
